Why Adopt from ETAA?

Adopting your next pet from ETAA not only means that you have rescued that one dog, it also means you have helped to change the fate of many homeless animals.

We are a small rescue with limited resources. Each adoption allows us the opportunity to save another life. When you take your new pet home, you are giving a second chance to another animal who can take its place.

You can be certain that your new family member has received the best care possible. The board members, fosters, and volunteers of East Tennessee Alliance for Animals provide love, care, and gentle guidance to each animal that comes into our care.

To ensure that our dogs get the best start to their happy life possible, all adoptable pets are:

  • Spayed/Neutered

  • Current on Vaccines

  • Heartworm Tested (8 mo+)

  • Up to date on heartworm and flea prevention

Our adoption process involves a phone screening, vet reference check as well home visit. An adoption application must be completed and submitted for approval by our board. Our adoption fee is $175.00. All pets adopted out by ETAA are current on all vaccines, neutered/spayed and micro-chipped. Our contract states if you are not fully satisfied with your pet, you may return him/her to us within 2 weeks for a full refund.
